1965 Chrysler Imperial Crown Convertible

The Imperial Crown Convertible continued as the flagship
of the Chrysler model line for 1965.

Ad copy heralded the Imperial’s many luxurious features,
including thick-padded black leather interior,
100-year-old Claro walnut trim, padded dash, and elegant instrument panel.

Front seats are described as strictly first class
aircraft-style executive seats with headrests,
accompanied by pullback “thruster” door handles, and jet-age review mirrors.

The convertible top material is exquisite leather-inspired premium textured vinyl,
and ‘Imperial’ crests are found on the backside of the hard tonneau end covers
with a soft center cover. Additional optional full-length soft cover may be substituted.

Headlights are inset into the grille behind glass covers
with etched horizontal lines resembling the grille, an excellent styling touch.

Imperial’s distinctive body is finished in the most attractive black color,
and the odometer reads less than 65,000 miles.
Well preserved and warehoused in the St. John car showroom,
the Imperial is powered by an excellent running 413 cubic inch V-8,
delivers a whisper-quiet and smooth ride and features a clean engine compartment.

With growing popularity, a rare Imperial Crown you must own!
Certainly a wise and lasting investment!
